As a 53 year old woman living with the long term effects of Cauda Equina Syndrome, my training goals are more about function over form. The programs that Palu designs and implements for me focus on strength, balance, stability and core. A five weekly cycle helps me build capacity (weeks 1-4) with a de-load week that supports recovery and keeps me injury free. A new program every 6 weeks means I never plateau.
I have been training with Palu twice a week for several years and it has become my most consistent and important health investment. Sessions are frequently challenging but never unsafe. Palu listens to my feedback , keeps a close eye out for muscle fatigue and contracture and adapts my exercises when required. Training with Palu, I have continued to surpass the expectations of my medical team with functional capacity that on paper I simply should not be able to achieve, I would recommend Palu to anyone coming back from or living with serious injury/illness.
